Julia works as an actor, director, writer and choreographer.​

 

In September 2025 I graduated from the MetFilm School in Leeds with a MA (Distinction) in Directing for Film & TV. ​ I will be following my dream of becoming a professional Director and Writer.

​

As an actor, highlights include co-starring in Roman Polanski's Oscar winning film 'The Pianist'. She has also worked with Tom Harper, Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant and Mike Leigh. ​

​

Also starring in over 30 commercials for brands including Coca-Cola, Ford Fiesta, Vauxhall, Lurkpak, Aero, Fuji Film and Mastercard, I have a wealth of knowledge working in the commercial sector. 

​

I also hold a BA (Hons) in Performance Art from Middlesex University and the State University of New York at Brockport, studying choreography with Tony award winning choreographer, Garth Fagan. I had the good fortune to study 'Le Jeu' with renowned movement director, Monika Pagneux at her studio in Paris. ​

I am in the process of submitting my 20 minute film, 'Tyrant', a C17th true story based on King James II starring Andrew Havill to festivals. I have now started to develop the film to feature length. Exciting times ahead!
